Patient SupportContinued support to prevent opioid use disorders and provide any mental health treatment needed
We provide patients the resources to prevent substance abuse
In 2014, the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) estimated that 43.6 million adults had any mental illness in the past year with 9.8 million adults having serious mental illness. Our initial psychiatric assessment is meant to determine whether patients present with a co-occurring condition which may put them at higher risk of developing an opioid use disorder, and if so, to effectively develop a more robust treatment plan targeting prevention.
At JADE, we believe long-term success comes from extended and routine follow-up. Upon completion of our educational program, we still meet with our patients once a month to discuss their current condition, address their support systems, and current symptomology. We understand life constantly changes, and we want to be there for our patients as they endure stress, anxiety, life changing events, and triggers that may lead to a substance abuse problem to address and prevent substance abuse.
TOGETHER WE CAN BE PART OF THE SOLUTION
Providing mental health treatment
Our clinical team is experienced in treating mood, thought and personality disorders including depression, anxiety, bi-polar, and other common mental health disorders. The presence of a mental health disorder puts patients with chronic or acute pain at heightened risk of developing a use disorder. Our experienced team can help.
Addressing use disorders
If a patient meets the criteria for a use disorder, we can assist them with enrolling in a substance use program to manage their condition while concurrently working with the physician to continue to manage their physical pain.
A comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach based on evidence-based treatment modalities.
We focus on variables that influence both physical and emotional health. Through integrative care interventions, patients will receive services that promote comprehensive wellness.
Improving the integrity of the family system through effective communication and boundaries supports emotional wellness, a healthy environment and a stable support system
Our program aims to help people define their sense of identity and purpose, instilling the motivation for self-improvement and use prevention.
Social networks that foster feelings of friendship and love should surround the person. We educate and help patients develop a healthy network of supports that are conducive to preventing substance use.
Our comprehensive education program focuses on all four of these components.
